We tethered tumbleweed breathe, dusty air of Texas night. November nods into locust shell of cloud, counting folds of dawn. Light lettered the margins of a speaking, cast-shadow silhouetted on empty floors. We braided breathing through the aperture of sleeping skin, each second hourglassed under pillows of severed dreams. You sleepwalked to kitchen, counting each step into the darkness.

Mini-chapbook now online
